The territory of Iran consists of a vast desert plateau bordered and crossed by grandiose mountain ranges such as those of the Alburz, Khorasan, Kurdistan and Zagros,
most rivers pour their waters into lakes, marshes and inland seas or evaporate before going out to travel great distances. in the central area of \u200b\u200bthe country there are 2 large deserts: the dasht-e-kavir, devoid of plant and animal life but interrupted here and there by some green and dasht-e-lut, the most depressed area of \u200b\u200bthe entire Persian plateau, a vast hospitable area where sterility is total and absolute. a coastal development of over 2,000 km; the coasts bathed by the Caspian Sea are straight, low and sandy while more articulated are more complex than the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. the climate of Iran is continental, with particularly hot states along the coast that faces the Persian Gulf, and the Gulf of Oman, on the central highlands the climate is more tempered, but extremely arid. marked are the temperature variations of urns and seasonal, the average temperatures in the months of January and July in Tehran are respectively 2 degrees and 29 degrees, while the average temperatures during the same months in Abadan, further south, are 12 degrees and 36 degrees. The average annual rainfall in Tehran is in Abadan and respectively 246 mm and 204 mm. The wettest area is the one presented by the northern side of the Albur mountains, where the climate is influenced by the presence of the Caspian Sea.<\/p>\n
